A blog about grief...sounds pretty depressing, doesn't it?
But a blog about my journey to find out what God is doing in the midst of our grief...now that could be interesting. I am a graduate student at Harding School of Theology pursuing my Master's in Christian Ministry. I am also a full-time minister for a church in the Dallas area, working with teenagers and their families. This blog began as part of my ministry practicum course for the Fall 2013 semester, part of my desire to increase my ministry skills in the formerly uncharted waters of grief counseling. But as others shared their stories and their voices, it became a place to share, heal, and journey together. Discussing where God is and what He is doing when we are at our lowest points touches us at our deepest level.
I hope this place will continue to be one of refuge, strength, and healing.
